Electronic Loan Payments

Conveniently make your FBCU loan payment using another bank.

We have many members who utilize the services of a second bank for their finances.  First Basin offers many convenient ways for members with accounts at other financial institutions to make their loan payment here at First Basin. One option is to call our Contact Center at 432-333-5600. If you prefer a digital route, our Express Pay is a quick and simple way to make a loan payment using a debit card or by providing bank information, performing an ACH payment.  Setup is easy. Simply use the "Express Pay" button and follow the 5 steps as shown below.

PLEASE NOTE: This Express Pay service has a $15 convenience fee that will be applied to all transactions coming from outside First Basin Credit Union.

Would you like to save $15?  When you utilize First Basin's Online Banking you will avoid the $15 fee.  You will also gain many other perks such as, external transfers, current loan balance and much more. Oh, and by the way, IT'S FREE!

REGISTER

Setup is simple, all that is required to register is an email address and password.

GET STARTED

You will be greeted and asked for your first and last name along with a current email address.  It is good to have your First Basin member/account # ready at this stage.  Your member number is also known as your First Basin account number.

SECURITY

This page requires answers to your private and secure information.  The member #, which is required at this stage, is also known as your First Basin account number and is normally 3-6 digits in length. You must click the box agreeing to the terms and conditions in order to proceed.

 

DEBIT CARD or ACH

You will now be given the option to make your payment using a debit card from your other financial institution or provide further detail information for an ACH payment.   Select the icon that works best for you - Debit Card or Bank Account ACH. You will then be prompted to search for your financial institution.  Once you find your bank, simply login using your online banking credentials from your non-First Basin external account and viola!  

YOU'RE ALL DONE!

Please keep in mind that it can take up to 72 hours to complete the electronic payment process.  Anticipating the "electronic transfer" delay is important when making payments and keeping a timely payment routine. 

NOTE: Recurring payments can be set up when paying using the ACH method. However, this is NOT available with a debit card.

How Do I Pay a Bill?

1. Login to Online Banking:

2. Click “Payments” on left-hand side of the screen, select “enroll” in Online Bill Pay. 

3. Grab your bills & start adding payees! Click +New payee. 

4. Choose to “Add a Bill” or “Add a person”. To add a bill, you will need: 

  • Company Name on Bill, Nickname (optional), Company phone number, Account number, Company address.

Make a payment as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Select the bill you’d like to pay & enter the payment amount

2. Schedule your payment due date. Please note: this is the date funds will be withdrawn from your account, NOT the date the payee will receive your bill payment. Allow 5-7 business days for your payment to arrive at the payee.

3. Choose the payment frequency. You can choose ‘one time’ payment or other payment options. If you’d like to ‘set it and forget it’, configure the number of payments or choose if you’d like that payment to made indefinitely.

ACH Payments

The power is in how you pay.

First Basin Automated Clearing House (ACH) PowerPay™ puts the power and security in your hands for electronic money transfers to and from FBCU. Make a monthly home or auto loan payment at First Basin with a checking account at another financial institution – and at no cost to our members.

  • Log in to FBCU Online Banking
  • Click on "Transfers" in the toolbar.
  • Select "+ External Account" and add the account information
  • Once the account has been verified you can begin using PowerPay!
  • Set it and forget it – schedule a recurring transfer so you don’t miss a payment!
  • Note: Transfers may take up to 72 hours
